The world’s already halfway drowned. Water swallows entire cities and you’re stuck fighting through ruins from this birds-eye camera angle that honestly feels fresh. Movement clicks fast. Combat is twitchy but not in the annoying way. Every run dumps you into randomly generated floors and the loot spreads are wild. I found a crossbow that chains lightning between enemies and it absolutely shredded through the next three zones. Bosses don’t mess around either. The screen fills with garbage to dodge while managing cooldowns. And the permadeath actually stings because you lose most of your gear when you die. Some permanent upgrades carry over between runs but not many. Oh and apparently the Shadow of the Depth Mod Apk version has unlimited diamonds if that’s your thing. Either way the core game loop stays addictive. Runs are short but dense.
