🚀 MOD: unlimited tower points
Turrets run dry at the worst moments. The Imperial Army keeps marching in from the left and right at the same time. That saw launcher on tier three just clicked empty while a mechanical monstrosity stomps closer. Lord Bingham’s precious Etherium Mine sits right behind the tower, which means there’s no fallback position, no second line of defense. But the lightning coil needs to recharge before the next wave arrives, and there’s no guarantee it’ll happen in time.
One Tower, Twenty Battlefields
So the Steampunk Tower sits at the center of every fight, a vertical spire that gains floors as Lord Bingham promotes the player through a campaign covering more than twenty battlefields. Machine guns lock onto the upper slots, cannons take the middle. Each weapon type slides into specific tiers that unlock with rank progression. And the whole thing runs on Etherium, which also happens to be what the Imperial Army wants. Turrets need constant swapping mid-battle because ammo doesn’t regenerate fast enough to hold a single loadout through an entire wave. The modded version dumps unlimited tower points into the mix, which normally trickle in just slow enough to make every upgrade feel like a debate between firepower and reload speed.
Jane’s Research Lab Drains Resources Faster Than Battles Generate Them
Jane, Bingham’s research head, handles all the tech upgrades between missions. And each turret branches into improvement paths that drain resources at a pace designed to stretch the campaign longer than it probably needs to be. Saw launchers get sharper blades, lightning coils extend their arc range, and cannons pack heavier shells. Max out a turret type without replaying earlier stages, since the modded version hands over the points upfront.
Big Band Jazz Over Clockwork Warfare
The art style uses gears, brass plating, and steam vents, but the real standout is the soundtrack. Jazzy big band compositions play over battles that look like they belong in a 1920s retrofuture sketchbook. And eleven challenge skirmishes sit outside the main campaign, each one tweaking the rules just enough to force different turret combinations. The shortest skirmish runs about four minutes if the loadout holds.
