Every jump matters because the person next to me is already halfway up the next wall. I’m running through these obstacle courses where the difference between first and fifth place comes down to which route I pick and whether I can actually pull off the vault without eating concrete. The game doesn’t wait. Other racers are real players most of the time, which means someone’s always faster than my best attempt. I’ll hit a perfect run through the rooftops and still finish third because two people found a line I didn’t see. And then I’ll restart and try their route and botch it completely.
